About This Spot

Stepping into Ararat Market is like entering a quietly vibrant corner of cultural discovery nestled in the heart of Hesperia. The pace here is unhurried yet purposeful, inviting you to take your time as you navigate aisles filled with authentic finds from Russia and the broader Middle Eastern region. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, touched by the gravity of tradition yet open-hearted in its service and spirit.

This isn’t just a grocery store; it’s a place where stories are tucked into jars, spices carry memories of faraway kitchens, and everyday shopping feels like a small act of exploration. The shelves offer more than just ingredients — they hold moments of curiosity, the chance to taste something new, or reconnect with a familiar flavor that’s been elusive elsewhere. Fresh breads arrive in rhythm with local seasons, and the produce shines with vibrant life, creating little pockets of discovery that surprise and delight.

What makes the experience truly special is the human element woven into every visit. The owners and staff bring a quiet kindness that gently elevates this market above the usual supermarket routine. Whether they’re helping you find an obscure delicacy or offering a friendly smile at the checkout, their attentiveness creates a sense of belonging — as if you’ve wandered into a neighbor’s pantry stocked with care and pride.

In a community where choices can sometimes feel limited, Ararat Market stands out as a steadfast gathering place. It’s where those craving authentic flavors and genuine moments come to find both. Here, shopping becomes a pause in your day, a gentle celebration of cultural roots, and an invitation to bring something new into your own kitchen and life.

Im so glad I came here they have everything I was looking for that our local stores normally don't carry. They have whole cold smoked mackeral fish which I'd been on the hunt for like those russian mukbangs I seen on tiktok. I purchased a lot of other food items I never tried before and was happy with it. I will definitely be back more often now. Owners were nice and friendly

We’ve been coming to this Armenian market for about 13 years now. It’s simply the best in every way possible. Extremely clean, neat, and organized. It’s always stocked well and has everything that you need in a middle eastern/ mediterranean grocer. We love the days of fresh bread and produce that come in. And not to forget the owners are so kind, it’s always a pleasure to come in here. ????????

Have been going to this outstanding store for 16 years. Customer service is on another level. Always friendly and helpful. You will not find prices like that anywhere. Always super clean. The owners are just amazing. Nothing but great experience!

Gem in the high desert. The couple that owns the market are friendly, and helpful. Prices are good, too. I found found my Russian cheesecake desserts and Baklava. The Baklava was a great price! Great selection of goods, check them out! Support small business.

My wife and I were shopping for Bulgur wheat to take back to Tennessee for the holidays. This convenient little shopping mart had what we needed and then some. The lady who worked behind the counter was very pleasant and helpful. Also bought a can of stuffed grape leaves to try out. Can't wait to try it.
